Chicken Brine
Ingredients
1/2 gallon water
1/2 gallon ice
2/3 cup kosher salt
1/2 cup honey
2 large bay leaves
Directions

Combine all ingredients.

Bring to a simmer in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Heat until salt and sugar are dissolved completely.

Remove from the heat and cover with a lid.

Refrigerate to cool before using, at least 1 hour.

Brine chicken, fully submerged, for up to 8 hours.
